MSPCA Valentine’s Day Sale. All Proceeds to Spike’s Fund…what’s that?

Spike’s Fund is MSPCA-Angell’s stash of cash for the treatment of homeless animals in need of urgent care. They’ve been through car accidents, neglect, abuse, or abandonment.  They’re cared for, stitched up, cleaned up, loved and rehabilitated till they can be adopted into a happy home where they’ll be taken care of, and where they’ll bring joy into the lives of the people who adopt them.

Elma before, and Elma after
Elma before removing the glue, and Elma with her new family

Are you with us?   Really, what’s better than taking the pain away a vulnerable little creature, and turning it into lasting joy?

So we’ve got a an easy, fun way to donate to Spike’s Fund.  Come to the MSPCA-Angell Valentine’s Day Sale, February 11-14th at MSPCA-Angell and buy something starting at as little as $5 for someone you love.  Professionally-designed custom flower arrangements that could knock the petals off any bouquet at any price…..handmade chocolates for your sweetie…..valentine biscuits and gifts for your canine cherub…..and gifts for kitty too.  All of these items were donated, which means that 100% of anything you purchase at the sale goes directly to Spike’s Fund.

BTW did you know that MSPCA-Angell is not affiliated with any national -SPCA?  That means that when you donate money to the organization called the ASPCA, none of these funds go to our local MSPCA.  Confused?  I was too, but after reading this short piece I get it.

See you at the sale?

HUGE thanks to Fish and Bone for everything you do for the animals who need help from the MSPCA before they can go to their forever homes! They are lucky to have you on their side!

It’s the MSPCA who is on the front line doing all the tough work & we’re happy to do whatever we can. Thank you Susan!
