UPDATE:  This week, with your help, we donated 405 stuffed stockings to homeless dogs and cats at Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, HART of Maine, Animal Rescue League of Boston, MSPCA Adoption Center, Rock ‘N Rescue, K9 Last Hope and Northeast Animal Shelter.

That’s double our goal!   Thank you for helping us deliver JOY this holiday season to where it’s needed most!

A number of years ago, we started delivering toys to our local Portland animal shelter on Christmas Eve.  It was a great way to reconnect with what really matters at Christmas:  being grateful for what we have and sharing it with our family, furriends, and community.

Since then it’s grown!  Every year in December, we stuff 200 stockings (100 in Boston and 100 in Portland) and deliver them to local shelters before Christmas.  And we invite our customers to join us by donating a stocking for $10.  This way we can all share in the joy that comes with ensuring pets waiting for adoption aren’t forgotten and they have a Christmas full of tasty treats and fun toys. And we ask some of our favorite brands to help too.  This year our stockings are stuffed with the generosity of some amazing brands like Open Farm, Benebone and Barkworthies, and they’ll be delivered to Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, H.A.R.T. of Maine, MSPCA-Angell Adoption Center and Animal Rescue League of Boston.
