Introducing our 2025 Pet of the Year Winners
Our winners edged ahead of an all-star pack of charming, athletic, smart and talented contestants after 4 grueling rounds of bracket-style voting! Along with the fame and glory of winning, each Dog and Cat of the Year gets a $150 gift card and framed photo to take home. Plus their photos will be featured in our stores throughout the year!
If your dog or cat wants to be in the running for Pet of the Year 2026, here’s how the contest goes:
- Fill out our easy Pet of the Week entry form, and be sure to provide 3-4 high quality photos that best portray their personality
- If chosen as a Pet of the Week, they’ll automatically be in the running for Pet of the Month (decided by voting on Instagram).
- Monthly winners compete in another round of voting in January for Pet of the Year, with winners decided by bracket-style voting. One cat and one dog will each win a $150 gift card and framed commemorative photo, and they’ll be featured in our stores for the whole year!
Goose
Goose is an affectionate labradoodle who high fives for cheese and loves to give hugs! Congratulations Goose!
Truman
Truman is a domestic shorthaired cat named after Harry S Truman (on Twin Peaks), an avid snuggler, and an advocate for adopting all FIV+ cats (because they are awesome, like him). Way to go Truman!
