Cooling Gear
Cooling gear really w
orks and should be a part of your plan. Through simple evaporation, a cooling pad, vest or bandana draws out body heat and is a safe and effective way to lower core body temperature. Just wet any cooling clothing likes vests, bandanas and hats with cool tap water (or dunk in a pool or stream), and put it on your pet. To ‘re-charge’ when the clothing dries out, just wet it again.

Cool Pet Pads
Cool Pet Pads are filled with a non-toxic gel that absorbs body heat. Your dog or cat will be naturally drawn to it, like they would a tile or cement floor. When the pad absorbs so much of their body heat that it’s no longer cooler than the floor, your pet will move to a cooler spot. The pad naturally ‘re-charges’, becoming cooler than the environment, and as your pet naturally seeks out the coolest s
pot to lay down, they’ll settle onto the cooling pad again.
