Read on!  As a Pet Enthusiast Sales Specialist at the Fish & Bone, you will outfit dogs and cats in collars, sweaters, jackets, carriers, harnesses and other gear; advise customers on pet food, treats, toys and other pet products hand-picked by our buyers; restock, unpack and merchandise inventory; fold and arrange products to keep displays looking their very best; provide award-winning customer service; help support local animal welfare groups with our donation drives and event sponsorships; and help pet parents provide the best lives for their cats and dogs.

What We Require:

Experience living with a dog, ideally your own

2 years customer service experience

Strong work reference

Upbeat & outgoing personality

Enthusiasm for learning new skills

Excellent social skills & communication (written and verbal) skills

Computer proficiency

High level of personal responsibility & maturity

Equally effectively working solo or as part of a team

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift & carry up to 40 lbs, climb ladders up to 6 ft, and work on your feet for long periods of time

Location of work & other details:

You’ll work inside our Newbury Street location, and sometimes outside as well (for example, during Open Newbury or at off-site events)
